For the True Roy Orbison Fan

Photoshoot for Columbia records photographing Eddie Money at City Club on Lansdowne Street, Boston, MA in December 1988. Eddie said “Roy Orbison is at the Channel nightclub we have to go see him”, so we all hopped into a limousine and cruised down to the club where we saw Eddie play and went back to his bus to meet him. I asked Roy if I could photograph him and he said, “Sure, honey”, so I took the opportunity to take some snaps of him in his trailer. Unfortunately, he left Boston and three days later he passed away at the age of 52. Original photograph captured by Julie Kramer.
